An estimated EGP 200 billion bank account with a 5 percent interest rate is allocated for supporting small-sized enterprises and factories' owners, said the chairman of the parliamentary committee for small enterprise.
During a visit to the Upper Egypt governorate of Menya on Thursday, Mohamed Ali Youssef said a potable water pipeline will be extended from New Menya to the industrial zone at EGP 15 million.
He called on the governorate to draw up an investment map to encourage youths to establish small ventures.
He added that the government would focus within the current period on realizing development in Upper Egypt in line of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi
