The Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) will boost the country's economy and help it attract more international investments, an official at the Euro-Arab Environment Organization (EAEO) said on Thursday.
Tariq bin Eid al Obaid, EAEO secretary general and its representative to the gathering, said that the three day conference, which will kick off tomorrow in Sharm el Sheikh, aims at delivering a message to the world that Egypt is witnessing an unprecedented economic renaissance.
He praised the government's efforts to draft new legislation to lure Arab and foreign investors to pump investments in Egypt, citing the new investment law.
Obaid reassured Arab and European businessmen that investment in Egypt is promising, lauding steps taken by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to reform the investment climate in Egypt.
He expected the conference to achieve its desirable goals, attract new investments into the state and provide more job opportunities for youth.
Concludng, Obaid lauded preparations taken by the Egyptian government to host the three-day economic conference.
