Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab asserted on Saturday that no one can prevent the Egyptian people from continuing their course to preserve their capabilities and achieve their future vision.
"Egypt will continue to build by the hands of its people and pay price and sacrifices to build our country," said Mahlab.
He stressed that an international economic conference slated for March in Sharm El Sheikh will be held as scheduled.
The premier was addressing a news conference on preparations for the conference in the presence of the Saudi finance minister and a UAE state minister.
Mahlab confirmed that the national economy is recovering, citing acknowledges from the World Bank and international financial institutions.
He said the state is taking economic and legislative reforms with sound policies despite challenges from terror.
He said he has recently visited Sharm El Sheikh to review preparations for the international conference.
The PM hailed the visit of Saudi Finance Minister Ibrahim al Assaf and the UAE state minister to Egypt.
"It's part of constant consultation with the Arab brotherly states," he said.
He pointed out also to his planned visit to Kuwait on Sunday.
He added that there is coordination at the international level before the conference. He cited recent visits to Egypt by delegations from the UK, China and the US.
