A delegation from the Indian Embassy in Cairo, under Deputy of the Indian Ambassador Vishvas Sapkal, visited on Monday east of the New Suez Canal project.
Sapkal told MENA that the venture is a huge national project, adding that he is confident that it will be a successful one.
He also expressed his happiness that the Egyptians are keen on completing this project in one year only.
The Indian diplomat hoped success for Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the government in their march of development.
He underscored that there are 60 Indian companies that have investments in Egypt, adding that more firms will invest in the country especially after the success of Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) held in Sharm el Sheikh.
Sapkal stressed that his country is ready to offer any aid to Egypt.
Meanwhile, the Indian delegation got acquainted with the latest developments in the New Suez Canal project.
