Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the second week of Al Basta 3 Market opens Friday, 26 and Saturday 27 December at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) for shopping Bahraini citizens and residents from all walks of life to visit.
700 vendors, including more than 70 exhibiters from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and productive families, participate in the activities of the market.
Al Basta 3 Market is the largest shopping festival in Bahrain and organized by the Southern Governorate with support from Tamkeen and a number of local and international partners, namely the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), the Southern Governorate, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Bahrain Noor Al-Ein Festival, Bahrain National Gas Company (BANAGAS), the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and Zajil Press.
Al Basta 3 Market is being held every Friday and Saturday from 2 to 9 pm until March 28, 2015. Members of public are invited to attend the activities of Al Basta 3 Market and enjoy the various pavilions and sections and places of family entertainment and recreational facilities like restaurants and shops for the sale of agricultural and consumer products and accessories, as well as a special corner displaying handicrafts, and a special corner for children that includes games and shops.
