Two suspects will appear before the First High Criminal Court for trial on December 7, 2014. The first suspect is facing charges of burglary at gunpoint, theft, possession of a fire weapon and ammunition without a licence and damage while the second suspect is facing charges of possessing a fire weapon and ammunition without a licence and hiding amounts of money obtained from a burglary.
The accusations are levelled at the suspects in connection with burgling Ahli United Bank branch in Budaiya on November 16, 2014. When interrogated by the Public Prosecution, the two suspects pleaded guilty to the charges and were remanded in custody pending investigation, the Northern Governorate Attorney General Hussain Bu Ali said.
