His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational and Charity Fund, today chaired the Fund's Board meeting at the Isa Cultural Centre.
His Highness extended sincere thanks and appreciation to all those that contributed to increasing the revenues of the Isa bin Salman Educational and Charity Fund, either through financial donations or by providing educational seats for students who benefit from the Fund's scholarships.
This will contribute to increasing the number of beneficiaries from such scholarships. His Highness noted that such donations reflect the spirit of cooperation and volunteerism characterising the Bahraini society, particularly in the educational and charity fields.
The Board reviewed a follow-up report on the academic performance of students benefiting from the Fund's scholarships over the past period.
In this regard, His Highness directed to continue the support of students through following up on their academic performance to ensure the continuation of their educational attainments and academic excellence.
The Board also reviewed a report on the financial situation of the Fund, and the efforts to be pursued in the forthcoming period to increase revenues, in addition to the facilitation of more scholarships for students.
