Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today National Financial and Administrative Audit Court (NFAAC) President Hassan bin Khalifa Al Jalahma, in the presence of Inspector General Major-General Ibrahim Habib Al Ghaith.
The Interior Minister asserted that the NFAAC is a result of the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote the culture of transparency and accountability. He expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation of the NFAAC's efforts in enhancing performance and protecting public money to reach the highest levels of credibility, independence and transparency for the best of the nation and citizens.
The NFAAC President was briefed about the steps taken by the Interior Ministry regarding remarks mentioned in the court’s report of 2013-2014 to develop work and reinforce cooperation and coordination between the two sides. He expressed appreciation of the ministry’s efforts and dedication to enhance joint cooperation to increase performance productivity and provide services in utter accuracy.
The meeting was also attended by the Director of Finance.
