Housing Minister Basim bin Yaqoub Al-Hamer received MP Abdullah bin Huwayl and discussed with him cooperation related to housing projects being implemented by the Ministry in the Southern Governorate. The meeting also discussed the latest developments in these projects as well as future projects in the ministry's plans and policy to meet nationwide housing demand, particularly in the Southern Governorate.
MP Bin Huwayl praised the ministry's housing plans to provide social housing to citizens and expressed his full readiness to cooperate with the ministry to implement its plans and projects according to its preset timetables.
Al-Hamer also received MP Mohammed Maarafi and reviewed with him the ministry's plans to meet citizens demand on affordable social housing. The meeting explored means of cooperation between the ministry and parliament on the dossier of housing which constitutes the common denominator between the ministry and the Council of Representatives.
The minister reviewed ongoing social housing projects construction workflow and future projects which the ministry intends to implement in the Southern Governorate and Bahrain's new cities.
MP Maarafi expressed his appreciation of the ministry's efforts in resolving housing issues and the steps taken in this regard, expressing his full readiness to cooperate with the ministry in order to achieve its goals.
