Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Egyptian General Federation of Trade Unions (EGFTU)'s Chairman Jebali Mohammed Jebali, and Secretary-general for Arab and International Relations Hamdi Abdulaziz Faraj, in the presence of the labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan and the Chairman of the Executive Council of the Bahrain Free Labour Union Federation (BFLUF) Yaqoob Mohammed Yousif.
The Deputy Premier lauded the Bahraini-Egyptian relations, noting that the Egyptian workforce has contributed to the development march of many countries, including Bahrain.
He reiterated Bahrain's support to brotherly Egypt through enhancing cooperation with it in various fields, especially the economic and labour ones, noting that the visit will strengthen the "fruitful" and "constructive" cooperation among Bahraini and Egyptian trade unions.
Jebali Mohammed Jebali expressed sincere thanks to the Deputy Premier and the Bahraini leadership and people for their support to his country.
He praised the kingdom's advanced laws regulating the relationship among the three production parties, and its labour achievements.
