His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today met a business delegation from the German Business Roundtable, in the presence of H.E. Kamal bin Ahmed, Transport Minister and Acting Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board. His Royal Highness spoke of the positive progress of bilateral relations between the two countries, which offered great potential for further development. HRH Crown Prince noted the increased German investments in the Kingdom and companies expanding operations, using Bahrain as a gateway to the GCC. His Royal Highness also noted the increased use of German expertise in various projects within the Kingdom. His Royal Highness concluded that the evident interest from the private sector was boosting joint cooperation and enhancing the trade balance. Striking a positive outlook, he said that along with the development of new joint projects, such visits from the business community were important for further exploring economic and investment opportunities. The German business delegation thanked His Royal Highness the Crown Prince on his enthusiastic commitment to enhancing Bahrain-German relations and emphasised the importance of His Royal Highness\'s visit to Germany last year, which had a significant impact on boosting economic cooperation.
