The Specific Vocational Training Council has approved the budget of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), which is chaired by Central Bank of Bahrain Governor Rasheed Al-Maraj.
The panel discussed the planned extension of the institute as well as lined up initiatives to meet the needs of the business sector in Bahrain.
BIBF Director-General Solveig Nicklos outlined the strategic aspirations of the institute to bolster its national and regional standing and cater to the development needs of the labour market.
The new-look website of the institute www.bibf.com has also been inaugurated on the sidelines of the meeting, to reflect the development goals of the banking and financial establishments .
