Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and head of the Bahraini side of the Bahraini-Saudi Joint Business Council Khalid Al Moayyed has expressed his pride and appreciation to the head of Al Sharqiya Chamber and head of the Saudi side of the Bahraini-Saudi joint business committee, Abdulrahman Al Otaishan, and his accompanying delegation.
This statement came upon their attendance and participation in the first meeting of the Bahraini-Saudi Joint Business Council on Thursday (February 26) in Manama.
Al Moayyed said ‘This meeting comes in a bid to bolster communication between Saudi and Bahraini business owners and investors, strengthen business ties, and encourage more joint ventures".
He added "This council aims to monitor the progress of joint projects and ensure their completion, facilitate smooth flow of goods between the two countries, and investigate the obstacles curbing the increase in the volume of trade, and collaborate in conducting studies on investment projects and opportunities".
Abdulhakeem Al Shemari, vice-head of the Bahraini side of the Bahraini-Saudi joint business council and board member of Bahrain Chamber said "The executive committee aims to monitor the implementation of the decisions and recommendations resulting from the meetings, and ensure the council’s effectiveness in achieving its objectives".
