Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal asserted that his country’s participation in the international conference “Invest in Tunisia, Start-up Democracy” held in Tunis materialises the determination of Algeria to achieve a real partnership with Tunisia in all economic fields.
Received Monday afternoon, in the Carthage palace, by caretaker President of the Republic Moncef Marzouki, Sallal reasserted his country’s support to Tunisia in the completion of its transition, commending the security co-ordination established between the two countries to fight against terrorism, a statement of the Presidency reads.
The meeting turned on several regional issues, notably the situation in the SIN-SAD region (Sahel and Saharan States) and the evolution of the situation in Libya. The president and his guest underlined the importance of boosting national dialogue between the different stakeholders in Libya to reach a solution guaranteeing its security and its stability.
