Algerian-Spanish working group will be set up soon to develop bilateral economic cooperation in various areas such as transport, construction, tourism and agribusiness, announced Friday in Algiers the Foreign Ministers of both countries. Speaking at a press conference after a working session extended to the two countries' delegations, Ramtane Lamamra and his Spanish counterpart, Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo y Marfil, stressed that this working group will be set up in order to diversify economic cooperation between the two countries. On this occasion, Lamamra affirmed that Algeria wishes to benefit from Spain's experience in non-hydrocarbons areas like tourism and construction, in addition to the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Algeria also wants, he said, to develop a partnership with Spain to revive its industry and strengthen its infrastructure. "We invite our Spanish friends to strengthen their presence in the Algerian market and contribute to direct investment development," he added.
