Abu Dhabi Fund for Development said it is working to implement the directives of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) leadership to boost relations with Jordan.
In a report publish in Abu Dhabi today on the occasion of Jordan’s Independence Day, the fund reviewed the strategic relations between Jordan and the UAE that began in 1974 and aim to achieve sustainable development in various sectors.
The report said that the fund contributed to the implementation of 31 development projects in Jordan valued at $1.5 billion in the mining, water, irrigation, transport, housing, agriculture, energy, education and health sectors.
Director General of the fund Mohammad Saif Al Sweidi reviewed major project that were financed by the fund within the UAE grant to Jordan for the years 2012-2017.
