The Committee members approved a proposed project submitted by ADWEA to replace water transmission line from Shawamikh roundabout to Zayed Military City. The project calls for replacing the old water transmission line with a new line, equipped with water flow measuring points, valves, fire hydrant systems and other facilities. The Committee also reviewed a number of proposals, including an additional budget for the Department of Economic Development, a project to re-evaluate future traffic size resulting from new development, maintenance and renovation of houses in the Western Region and solar photo-voltaic power plant in Masdar City. They discussed other topics, including the new Abu Dhabi Educational Council’s new building and the operating budget of Critical National Infrastructure Authority.
