The European al-Wafaa Campaign, in cooperation with the Syrian Trust for Development, distributed some 750 food baskets to the locals of Handarat and al-Nayrab camps in Aleppo.
Civilians who have been driven out of their homes by terrorist groups dwell in Handarat and al-Nayrab camps.
This is the tenth aid convoy that the campaign has run in Syria in a bid to alleviate the effects of the crisis, and its visit to Aleppo is the first to the province, says Amin Abu Rashed, the campaign’s leader.
The aid distributed today targeted mainly Palestinian families, he added, vowing that further aid is slated for distribution soon elsewhere in Aleppo.
The locals of the two camps thanked Aleppo governorate and the campaign officials for their efforts to alleviate their suffering, vowing to remain unfazed by the horrors that terrorists are visiting upon them.
