The Israeli occupation authorities today opened Karm Abu Salim crossing in southern Gaza allowing the entry of 700 trucks laden with goods for the commercial, agricultural, communications and assistance sectors.
Raid Fattouh, head of the Coordinating Committee for the Entry of Goods into the Gaza Strip said the convoy included 18 trucks laden with construction materials for international projects and 150 others loaded with infrastructure materials for roads in the sector, adding that volumes of fuel were also pumped.
Kafr Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which goods, aid materials and fuel inter the Gaza strip.
