The Suez Free Zone approved during a meeting on Wednesday under governor Ibrahim al-Sarawi five investment projects in the Gulf of Suez worth 15.5 million dollars.
The governor gave a 6-month period for the companies which will carry out the projects to finish them on time otherwise the plots of lands of the projects will be withdrawn.
The projects focus on importing and storing chemicals in line with the regulations of the higher committee of environment to secure the health of citizens.
The council also agreed to cancel three projects and withdraw their lands from the companies for failure to meet the projects' conditions.
