Out of the 62 amendments proposed by MPs, four (04) were adopted Wednesday in Algiers by the People’s National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament) in a voting on Finance Bill 2015.
The first amendment concerns the cost of the stamp duty for the biometric passport which was set at DZD6,000 against DZD10,000 proposed in the finance bill 2015.
The members of the People’s National Assembly adopted an amendment relating to the submission of the inputs for the poultry farming at the rate of 7% of VAT instead of a total exemption.
The representatives of the Parliament’s Lower House adopted by a majority the amendment of article 75 of 2015 finance bill relating to the exemption from custom duties and taxes in favour of investments carried out by the industrial sector in the research and development segment.
The last amendment, which concerns the introduction of a new article 124a amending the article 136 of 1999 finance bill amended and completed, will provide support to transfer the mortal remains of the members of the Algerian community abroad by the National Solidarity Fund.
