About 150 national and foreign exhibitors will take part in the 9th International Agriculture Fair (Agro expo-Filaha) which will take place from 19 to 23 November at the Exhibition Centre (Algiers), said Sunday in a press conference the event’s organizers.
This fair will “highlight the concern of food safety through the modernization of agriculture,” said the chairman of this economic event Amine Bensemmane, underlining that about 15 countries will be represented in this 9th edition.
A space and opportunities to establish partnerships between Algerian and foreign operators will be also offered to the exhibitors, according to him.
Organized by SAFEX in partnership with “Exopvet,” an international company organizing specialized fairs and discussion group "Filaha innov," this fair focuses on plant production, mechanization and promotion of agricultural products, according to the event’s organizers.
In addition to a space devoted to the exhibition of agricultural equipment and material, the fair will host conferences on themes relating to development of farm production, water mechanization and sustainable development.
This fair will also be marked by the organization of four forums which will be led by national and international experts on issues related to agro-ecology, fruit farming, plant health and enhancement of water resources.
