Obama to allow extension of health plans

President Barack Obama said Thursday that Americans will be allowed to keep canceled health plans for an extra year as he acknowledged a "rough" start to reforms. Obama, however, vowed to push ahead with his overall push to expand US health care coverage, vowing to block bids to return to a "broken" system that left millions uninsured.
