Nigeria's presidential and parliamentary elections should be postponed, President Goodluck Jonathan's national security adviser said on Thursday at a conference in London.
"We said (to the Independent National Electoral Commission), look, there is a problem... We still have about 30 million... (voter) cards to distribute," Sambo Dasuki told the Chatham House think-tank.
Dasuki said he had told INEC to "look at the possibility of shifting" the election from February 14 for security reasons, adding that he doubted their assurances that the cards would be delivered.
