It’s often difficult for children to understand the reason behind practicing kindness to themselves and others. Once they’re able to make the connection between compassion and enjoyment, life becomes much easier. Co-authors Missy Burroughs Johnson and Cybele S. Hunter have created “The Truejoys and the Stinjas”, a children’s storybook that reveals this connection between respect and joy. It follows the transformation of a rambunctious dragon clan that leave their old ways behind as they discover the secret wealth found in kindness and giving. “The book charms its readers with names that pop and wordplay that adds meaning to everyday interaction,” Hunter said. “Kids will be able to laugh at their Stinja moments and take on the winning secrets of the Truejoys.” Award-winning British artist, Robert Askew, drew the book’s illustrations. Askew is renowned for his detailed and engaging drawings that captivate audiences of all ages. He believes that “The Truejoys and Stinja’s” is one of his best works to date. “If you want to teach the true secret of happiness to your young reader, check out ‘The Truejoys and the Stinjas, ’” Johnson said. “It’s an entertaining and enlightening read with the power to transform a stingy heart with fun, lasting happiness and true joy.” Source: PRWEB
