The Sunset Music Festival returns to Abu Dhabi with a vintage RnB line up.
Dru Hill and Blackstreet, both of whom are responsible for several seminal genre hits in the 90s, will headline the festival at Zayed Sports City on February 16.
They will be joined by a contingent of locally based hip-hop artists including the fierce Syrian rapper MOH Flow and festival favourites The Recipe.Fans of 90s era RnB should welcome the arrival of Dru Hill. Led by the perpetually bleach haired singer Sisqo, the four piece are making their Abu Dhabi debut with a catalogue of fan favourites including Tell Me, How Deep is Your Love and 5 Steps.
Meanwhile, Blackstreet are UAE regulars having last performed in Dubai last year. The trio will hit the stage with their own batch of anthems such as the swaggering No Diggity and Before I Let You Go.
With the welcome cool weather, the festival is aiming for a laid back vibe with food trucks available in addition to picnic blankets.
Tickets begin from Dh150. For details go to www.sunsetmusicfestival.ae.
