A range of rich and varied activities started Sunday in Tindouf as part of the cultural and scientific event Maoussem "Jaken Al Abar". Under the sign of " Tindouf: Renewed heritage for a stronger union," this event is held with the participation of many local associations and other provinces of the country, as well as cultural delegations from neighboring countries, including Mali, Mauritania and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), led by the Saharawi Minister Information, Mohamed El-Mami Tamek. The kick-off of this Maoussem (festival), hosted by palm grove of "Oued Aguejguel" in Tindouf was marked by a parade organized by the participating associations, punctuated by songs and dances and has been extensively applauded by the numerous public came to attend the event . The activities chosen by the participating associations are intended to highlight the ancestral cultural legacy of the region, including models of ancient architecture and manuscripts of Douiret Ahl El- Abd.
