In support of the Emirati film industry, Abu Dhabi Festival 2015 presents 'Cinema Emirati,' a two day national film screening event at The Space in TwoFour54 between March 18th – 19th.
Film lovers in the UAE are invited to explore UAE filmmaking, meet the people behind the lens and find out more about their creative journeys. The series includes, Sundress, 2010, by Saeed Salmeen Al Murry, who was named Best Emirati Filmmaker at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2008. Sundress is Saeed's debut feature film and stars Ahmed Abdullah, Hamad AlHamady, and Habib Ghuloom.
Other showings include Origins, 2014, by EWS-WWF, Amal, 2011, by Nujoom Al Ghanem, and The Brain that Sings, 2013, by Amal Al Agroobi.
