Mitsubishi Z7 has been marketed as a family car Jeddah - Arabstoday Mitsubishi vehicles distributor in Saudi Arabia, Alesayi Motors, has concluded a deal with Taiwanese carmaker CMC to market its family flagship model Z7 in the country, starting from 2013. The agreement was signed by Bandar Saeed Alesayi, Vice-President of Alesayi Motors, and Kuo Chi Wong, Vice Chairman of CMC, during a recent meeting in Saudi Arabia. According to Saudi Gazette, the agreement makes Alesayi the exclusive dealers for the family car Z7, a 7-seat multipurpose (MPV) dedicated to meeting the growing need for high quality and spacious cars that are perfect for value-conscious Saudi families. Bandar said: "After an in-depth study of the market, we are sure that a value-orientated roomy car such as this will be highly sought-after here. The powertrain is supplied by Mitsubishi Motors so we know the quality and strength of the car and of course, because of this, we have full parts availability." He added:" We have a network of integrated centres in the main cities of Saudi Arabia, including service and spare parts facilities. We shall utilise all of our resources and our vast experience, which goes back to more than 50 years, to ensure the success of this great family car." CMC has bee working with Mitsubishi Motors since 1970. Its production capacity has reached more than 100,000 vehicles per year, making it one of the fastest growing carmakers in Taiwan. Wong said: "We have been very warmly welcomed by the people of Saudi Arabia and we have all the confidence in our future in Saudi Arabia, as well as our new partner Alesayi Motors."
