Qatar National Library (QNL) will offer visitors to the Annual Research Conference (ARC 2014) unique services at a specially-designated booth at the Qatar National Convention Centre's (QNCC) exhibition hall.
QNL representatives will help register participants at the conference and provide them information on science and research online databases available at the QNL website The two-day conference under the theme 'Towards World-Class Research and Innovation' opens November 18.
It will bring together renowned national and international experts, researchers and scientists from key entities in Qatar Foundation Research and Development (QF R&D), hosts of the conference.
QNL Project Director Dr Claudia Lux said, "The University and Research Library function supports education and research at all levels. As a member of Qatar Foundation, we aim to enhance lives of students, educators, researchers, and members of the community by encouraging them to seek knowledge in order to develop their full capabilities." ARC 2014 builds on nationwide efforts to advance Qatar's ambitious research agenda across cyber and water security, solar and renewable energy solutions, health management systems, as well as social challenges, by providing a platform to activate multidisciplinary knowledge sharing and collaboration.
QNL is a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF).
