Iran\'s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency said the IAEA is monitoring activities at Iran\'s Natanz and Fordo nuclear sites. Ali Asghar Soltanieh denied charges by Western sources that Iran has begun enrichment at the Fordo site in central Iran without informing the IAEA, the Iranian Students News Association, ISNA, reported Tuesday. In late August, the head of Iran\'s Atomic Energy Organization announced that centrifuges from the Natanz facility were being transferred to the Fordo site. In a related development, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad rejected the West\'s allegations that Iran\'s nuclear program is not intended for peaceful purposes. During a visit to Venezuela, Ahmadinejad denied that Iran is intent on pursuing nuclear weapons, Iran\'s Fars news agency reported.
