A workshop on the caricature or cartoon art opened last night at the Art Studios Building in the Cultural Village \"Katara\" under the auspices of HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari. The three-day \"You can Draw!\" workshop provides a guideline for what actually works for the young Qatari caricatures industry in the modern day. The Qatari cartoonists, Abdulaziz Yousuf and Rashid al-Kuwari, will introduce about 30 young men and women to starting a successful cartoon career in Qatar beginning with cool sketches, sharing art work in social media platform in a personal level for fun, to publishing unique art line in actual news paper and building a successful career. Head of the Art Activities Section at the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage Ghanem Al Dheyab said that the Ministry organizes such workshops for the first time aiming at diversifying arts activities and talents in the country, confirming the identity of the Qatari artist in this field, and supporting the talents financially and morally.
