The Syria Mosaic Exhibition was launched on Saturday in Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus, with the participation of around 80 companies and establishments.
The exhibition, which is part of the Socio-Economic Forum, is organized by the Syrian Exporters Union, the Export Development and Promotion Agency, the General Establishment of Exhibitions and Fairs, the Economic Group for International Investment Promotion, and al-Baja’a Group for Exhibitions and Conferences.
Attending the launch, Tourism Minister Bishr Yazigi said this event is part of the effort to support the local business sector, and that it showcases the Syrians’ creativity and their determination to cling to life in the face of the vicious war targeting them.
In turn, exhibition organizer Nabil Marzouk said the companies and establishments participating in the event represent a variety of sectors including insurance, banking, education, furniture, hotels, real-estate, technology, and electronics.
Exhibitors also include businesses specializing in cosmetics, accessories, printing, clothing, food, handicrafts, construction, household items, hotel appliances and equipment, detergents, interior design, and architecture, among others.
The exhibition, which will be concluded on September 23rd, is open from 12 PM to 8 PM.
