Opening of a new arts and culture centre: El Mesahah

El Mesahah Arts and Culture Centre is a part of Career Gates, a British training centre, which is an offspring of the Modern Sciences and Arts University. As a part of career development workshops, Career Gates already offers trainings in cinematic arts, photography and interior design, among many others. Initiated by Career Gates as part of the organisation\'s social responsibility, El Mesahah \"aims to offer professional and amateur artists  – from Egypt and abroad – a space to learn, teach, perform, exchange knowledge and practice and showcase their artistic practices,\" we read at the centres website. The centre\'s website already promises a variety of courses in music: vocal trainings, percussion, guitar, oud, nay, drums, violin, piano, solfege, not to mention drawing, stained glass and mosaics, fashion and many others. The centre also aims to hold exhibitions and a cinema club. The grand opening will be filled with many artistic activities, performances by Egyptian bands, and a dance and a sand show.
