As per tradition, El Fan Midan will hold its next edition on 3 March, the first Saturday of the month. El Fan Midan is an artistic festival that aims to take art to public squares and usually takes place in more than one governotrate. In next month\'s El Fan Midan, several artistic performances are slated for Abdeen Square, including Ramy Essam, who is known as the singer of the revolution, Ahwal band, Baheya troupe and a Khayal folk troupe. There will be also an art workshop for kids as well as a caricature exhibition. Last month, El Fan Midan became a political rally due to the massacre that took place in the Port Said stadium and the clashes that followed in front of the ministry of interior. The football field was raided during a match, supposedly by the home team\'s fans and attacked the Cairo fans in the stadiums. The horror that unfolded brought protests, who demanded that the ministry of interior take responsibility for suspiciously low levels of security while some called for the end of military rule.
