A photo exhibition for artist Hagop Wanesian was lunched at al-Assad House for Culture and Arts under the motto "Aleppo….. Civilization and Ashes". The exhibition contains scores of photos which document some of the suffering imposed on the women, children and elderly people in Aleppo city and reflect the determination of the citizens to continue their lives and confront terrorism. In a statement to journalists, Minister of Tourism Bisher Yazigi said that war imposed on Syria will go down in history and will be a witness to the barbaric of the aggression to which the country is exposed. For her part, Minister of Culture Lubanah Mshaweh said that the gallery is considered an optical memory and documentation of human tragedy. The Minister added that its important for this exhibition to tour around the world to be a witness to the atrocities committed by the armed terrorist groups against the Syrian citizens. Father Elias Khoury suggested that photos are gathered and sent to Pope Francis of the Vatican. Artist Wanisian pointed out that the gallery documents the reality of events in Aleppo and explains the agony of the Syrians.
