The Venezuelan Ministry of Culture and the Venezuelan National Forum for Poetry held a cultural and poetic evening in solidarity with Syria in the face of the terrorist and imperialistic campaign facing it. The events, held at the Center for Latin American Strategic Studies, was within the activities of the 10th International Poetry Festival which kicked off last week. The poets expressed, in their poems, heartfelt and sincere feelings of solidarity with the Syrian government and people in their war against the imperialism and terrorism, stressing that Syria will remain the \"cradle of civilization and religions\". Representative of the Venezuelan National Forum for Poetry expressed solidarity of the Venezuelan people and government with Syria, expressing, on behalf of the Forum and the Venezuelan poets and intellectuals, their solidarity with Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad. The participate stressed that Syria and Venezuela will remain in the same side in defending their sovereignty and independent in the face of the international plot that aims at undermining the two friendly countries.
