The management of the Masts Theater decided to resume its theatrics festival after a 13-years\' halting interval. Initially, the theatrics festival was slated to be organized in the period 7-17 September 2013. Member of the board of directors, Ishag Abdullah, told the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that \"despite difficult unfavorable conditions of the theater, however, we decided to face these conditions by accepting the challenge of returning especially after the transformation of the theater\'s circumstances in the absence of novice and veteran artists who are preoccupied with various other matters. Therefore, the resumption of this festival is a very special occasion after graduation of many Bahraini theater stars. It was the first private Bahraini theater. It had organized three festivals on the Theater\'s International Day in order to re-attract young artists to the atmospheres of the theater. Mr. Ishag Abdullah added that under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, the Masts\' Theater\'s new management has plan in place to continue this festival each and every year. He pointed out that the theater does not make it conditional to present experimental plays as a policy. The Masts\' Theater established since 1991 sponsors experimental plays. The festival receives all plays in addition to participation of youth and culture. Till now, it has been confirmed that Gilgamesh Theater and Al-Reef Theater will participate. The invitation has been extended to the public until the end of July 2013 to submit the text of their theatric plays. The festival encourages young writers, scenarists, directors, actors to submit theatric plays, musicals and cine-o-graphia.
