Kuwait Writers Association has held its cultural festival luring a number of visitors who hailed the activity for sake of enhancing cultural education at the national level. The visitors, interviewed by KUNA, praised the activity for the association cultural season (2012-2013), namely diversity of the themes addressed in lectures by eminent figures. Abdullah Murad said, in remarks to KUNA, the event attracted officials, well-known literary and cultural personalities, namely Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hoseini. However, Murad, a frequent guest, said many of the vistors abstained from attending the scheduled seminars \"due to lack of high quality of the themes.\" He also noted necessity for the media to shed light on such cultural activities. Nohad Abdul-Jader praised the association for holding a forum on grammar of Arabic language. Key speaker Dr. Khaled Al-Shayjei, the former secretary general of the association, lectured about necessity of safeguarding the language and its rules. Abdul-Jader shared the professor\'s deep concern about destiny of the Arabic language, in shadow of mounting influence of the internet and users\' tendency to abstain from or writing Arabic letters and expressing Arabic words in Latin.
