A young Omani was rescued from a mountain in Quriyat by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).
According to PACDA, the man injured his leg while trekking in Wadi Al Arabiyeen and was three hours walking distance from the road. Emergency services requested a helicopter to reach the injured.
The Royal Oman Air Force transferred the victim to Quriyat Hospital, where he was found to be suffering from medium injuries.
PACDA has requests that people should be fit and prepared for any trip to the mountains.
