Oman organizes an international conference on drought management strategies

The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources in the Sultanate of Oman will host in December an international conference on \"Strategies for drought management in arid and semi-arid lands \" with a wide international participation by a number of organizations and international specialized centres in addition to a number of scientists, experts, university professors and specialists in the field of water and environment. During the three-day conference sixty working papers, to be presented by the 150 participants from 18 countries, will be discussed. On the sidelines of the conference an exhibition embodying the latest technology and modern science in the field of drought management techniques and reduction of its risks, will be held Alongside the conference a workshop on industrial rain will be held with a number of experts and companies working in the field of industrial rain from different world countries, will be held.
