Dr. Alireza Rastegar, President of the International Federation of Inventors' Associations, has commended the UAE, led by His Highness President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for creating an atmosphere conducive for creativity and innovation.
He praised the initiative of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, of declaring the year 2015 at the UAE level as the year for innovations and his announcement of the UAE Innovation Week. He cited the humanitarian innovations of Emirati inventor Ahmed Majan that serve humanity, animal rights and help harness innovation and knowledge.
Dr. Rastegar made the remarks while visiting Majan's pavilion at the 67th edition at The iENA Nuremberg - International Trade Fair Ideas - Inventions - New Products, Germany.
Majan showcased a number of inventions including a smart dolphin, smart Saddle with a Bluetooth, smart climber, smart waste bag, smart bicycle's chair, solar-powered bird track device, smart mirror and others.
Delegations from Poland, Angola, Austria, Germany, Portugal, Serbia and others visited Majan's pavilion and expressed their admiration for his inventions. They stressed that the tour was an opportunity to exchange expertise.
