A kitchen gas explosion led to a building fire in Mawaleh, officials announced.The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance rushed to the scene of a workers' building at dawn today, behind the Mawaleh Souq.
The fire was a result of a cooking gas cylinder exploding. The explosion caused the building to be engulfed in flames, along with seven vehicles close to the building.
No injuries were recorded.
