The Egyptian Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources said on Friday that the two French consultancy firms tasked with conducting technical studies on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam have sent their report on the impacts of the controversial dam to Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan.
In a press statement, Egypt's Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi said the report includes two studies on the impacts of the Ethiopian dam on water resources, electricity, and other environmental, economic and social aspects of Egypt and Sudan.
He said an Egyptian committee is currently reviewing the report ahead of a meeting of the Egyptian-Sudanese-Ethiopian committee with representatives of the two firms.
