An earthquake measuring 5.9 magnitude on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Mexico on Monday.
The quake struck 108 km (67 miles) southwest of Suchiate in the state of Chiapas, at a depth of 10 km, the US Geological Survey said.
It comes just a week after another 6.2 magnitude quake struck off the coast.
Mexico is considered one of the world's most seismically active countries by the US Geological Survey (UGUS).
