Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott arrived in Malaysia Saturday to discuss two recent air tragedies and other bilateral concerns, according to dpa.
Australia is leading the search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370
which disappeared on March 8 and is believed to have crashed in the
southern Indian Ocean.
It is also active in the investigation into the July 17 crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine after it was shot down by a missile, killing 38 Australian citizens and residents.
The one-day visit is Abbott's first to Malaysia since he became prime
minister in September 2013.
