Three aftershocks have occurred within 12 hours on Sunday, the 16th day since the massive 7.6 magnitude earthquake jolted Nepal.
All the three aftershocks that occurred till noon are of less than 5 magnitudes, in-between 4-5 magnitudes.
"The first one of 4.2 magnitude occurred at 1:50 am while second one of 4.4 magnitude at 6:34 am making the epicenters in Sindhupalchowk, the district having highest death toll by April 25 quake," the National Seismological Center reported in its website.
More than 3,000 people have been confirmed dead in Sindhupalchowk district alone with maximum number of houses collapsed.
Likewise, a 4.0 magnitude aftershock had occurred in 11:08 this morning making its epicenter in Rasuwa district, where 491 people are already confirmed dead.
The April 25 disaster has already taken the lives of more than 8,000 people till date, with more than 16,000 injured.
