A 7.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Japan's southwestern island of Kyushu at 0:25 a.m. Saturday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 32.75 degrees north latitude and 130.80 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
