Earthquake jolted an eastern Philippine

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted an eastern Philippine province earlier on Wednesday, just over one month after a tremor killed three people in the same area, according to Deutsche Presse-Agentur, DPA.
No damage or casualties were immediately reported after the quake, local officials said.
The quake's epicentre was located north-east of the town of Albuera in Leyte province, 578 kilometres south of Manila, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The last major quake to hit the country was a 7.1-magnitude tremor that killed more than 220 people in the central Philippines in October, 2013.
