A moderate quake measured at 4.3 magnitude hit Ibaraki prefecture in Japan at 5:27 p.m. local time on Sunday, with tremor was felt in Tokyo.
The epicenter of the quake was initially detected at 36.1 degree of north latitude and 139.8 degree of east longitude, with a depth of 80 km, according to Japan's meteorological Agency.
The temblor was registered at level 4 on the Japan's seismic intensity scale of 7 in parts of Saitama Prefecture.
The quake triggered no tsunami alert and no immediate reports on damage and injuries.
